James Calvin "Jimmy" Rollins (born November 27, 1978), nicknamed "J-Roll", is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2000 and played with the team until 2014, becoming the team's all-time hits leader, and earning a reputation as an excellent defensive shortstop.
