Jordan Williams - Biography

Jordan Williams was an American actor who was born on October 7, 1955.
Originally a carpenter in Chicago, Jordan started on stage there and moved to Atlanta in 1979 and went into voice-overs. Soon he was appearing in films, writing and moved to L.A. and New York for a while and appeared on numerous daytime dramas.

He is best remembered for his role as 'Pete Simms' in the short-lived television series, "Savannah" from 1996 to 1997. A native of Detroit, Michigan, he was originally a carpenter and a stage actor in Chicago, illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia, before making the move to New York, and finally to Los Angeles, California, to write, and act in films and on television.
Sometimes using the name Larry Roberts for work purposes, he appeared in the films such as "The Fury" (1978), "Jaws Of Satan" (1981), "Maid In America" (1982), "Tank" (1984), "My Dog Skip" (2000), and "Sacrifice" (2000), and the television programs, "All My Children," "The Catlins," "Energy Lifestyles," "Ryan's Hope," "In The Heat Of The Night," and "Matlock." He also wrote for the 1988 film, "Final Cut," and played 'Sam Phillips' in the 1990 television minseries, "Elvis." He passed away from natural causes in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 50.
