Justin Saliman - Biography
Justin D. Saliman, MD is a sports medicine and athroscopy specialty trained orthopaedic surgeon at the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Center. He is former Bree Turner's husband. In 2008, they married at the Casa Del Mar hotel in Santa Monica, California. In March 2018, Turner filed for divorce and they got separated.
Justin specializes in joint preserving and arthroscopic treatments of injuries to the shoulder, hip and knee. He has published articles in various journals such as The American Journal of Sports Medicine, Topics in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Annals of Biomedical Engineering.Dr. Saliman earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in his home town of Denver.
He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Luke`s-Roosevelt Hospital Center of Columbia University in New York City and a sports medicine fellowship at Stanford University / SOAR in Palo Alto where he provided care for the San Francisco 49ers and Stanford athletic teams.Currently, Dr. Saliman is actively involved with inventing and developing minimally invasive devices, implants and techniques to preserve injured or degenerative joints and tendons. His present focus is on cutting edge techniques and innovations to decrease pain, repair anatomy and improve function in the shoulder and knee.
