Neha Kakkar - Biography
Neha Kakkar is an Indian playback-singer. She competed on the television reality show Indian Idol season 2 in 2006. In 2008, she launched the album Neha The Rock Star with music composed by Meet Brothers. Her other work includes the songs "Sunny Sunny", "Manali Trance" and "Aao Raja" with singer Honey Singh, "Dhating Naach", "London Thumakda" and "Hanju" with singer Meiyang Chang.
She first entered the industry with Indian Idol season 2. Her elder sister's presence in the industry helped her with the career and the show. After getting eliminated very early from the show, she focused on playback singing. After Indian Idol, she kick started her journey in the music industry with the album ‘Neha The Rock Star’ composed by Meet Bros in 2008. In 2013, Kakkar gave her voice in the song ‘Dhating Naach’ for the movie ‘Phata Poster Nikhla Hero’. She gave her voice in the popular song ‘Sunny Sunny’ with Honey Singh in 2014 that conveyed huge fame for the singer. In the same year, Kakkar gave voice in the song ‘London Thumakda’. Then she gave the voice for the song ‘Party Shoes’ of the Kolkata's movie ’Bindass’.
