Pati Jinich - Biography
Pati Jinich was born and raised in Mexico City, surrounded by expert cooks. She studied Political Science and has her Master's Degree from the distinguished Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. but she soon realized that her real passion lay in promoting Mexican cuisine. She is teacher, cookbook author and the official chef of the Mexican Cultural Institute in the nation's capital where she and her husband reside with their three sons. In April, 2011 Pati launched the newest chapter in her love affair with Mexican cooking: Pati's Mexican Table, an outstanding program on many public television stations. Pati is also a frequent guest on national programs broadcast on The Food Network, The Chew, NBC's Today Show, CBS, ABC, FOX and the radio program, The Splendid Table.
