Head of Media & Entertainment Practice.During the systemic transformation in Poland in the 90s Piotr ran controversial, precedential cases in the IP protection, technology transfer, project finance and privatization areas of practice and complex, often multijurisdictional commercial litigation before the common courts and arbitration tribunals.As a Polish Partner with Hogan & Hartson from Washington D.C., from 1991 to 1996 Piotr was active in a number of high profile legislative projects instrumental for the improvement of Polish Law and the Polish Economy in the new free market economy business environment. From 1996, as a Partner with White & Case from New York, he established and headed one of the very first teams of Polish lawyers and experts in the then brand new Intellectual and Industrial Property Law area.Since establishing of his new, local Polish law firm in January 1999, Piotr has represented a variety of leading companies in Poland, many of which belong to the group of Polish subsidiaries of the world’s best known corporations. He has vast experience in providing legal services to companies from different sectors of industry, trade and services.Piotr is considered an expert in the field of IP and Life Science and is recommended in the fields of commercial litigation and commercial arbitration, including the investment arbitration area of legal practice.Between 1993 and 1995, Piotr lectured on the Legal Aspects of Technology Transfer at the George Washington University in Washington D.C.
