Rumen Petkov - Biography
Rumen Yordanov Petkov (Bulgarian: Румен Йорданов Петков) (born 23 June 1961) is a Bulgarian politician.
He graduated maths and information technologies in Plovdiv. Petkov is married with two children. He speaks Russian fluenmtly. In 1992 to 1995 he was chairman of the Pleven's Municipal council. He was the mayor of his home city over 1995-1999.
Rumen Petkov headed the pre election campaign of Bulgaria's President Georgi Parvanov. In 2002, he was given the post of Socialist Party deputy chairman. Rumen Petkov was an MP from the 39th National Assembly.
