Sarah Jane Wright - Biography
Sarah Jane is a popular children’s illustrator and designer. She began her illustration career by creating Sarah Jane Studios where she designs decor, fabric, and play things with her signature whimsical, fresh yet classic style. Her books include the upcoming Lola Dutch co-authored by her husband, Kenneth Wright, I Heart You by Meg Flemming, The Secrets of Eastcliff-by-the-Sea: The Story of Annaliese Easterling & Throckmorton, Her Simply Remarkable Sock Monkey by Eileen Beha, among others.
In 2008, in an attempt to fund her husband through graduate school, Sarah opened an Etsy shop hoping to sell a few prints so she could stay at home with her small children. Her artwork instantly took off and soon exploded into a full-time operation with a wide range of products for children and crafts.
Her clients include Ralph Lauren, Bloomsbury, Harper Collins, Simon & Scheuster, Scholastic, Pop & Lolli, and Michael Miller Fabrics.
