Sean Yazbeck - Biography
Sean Yazbeck is a British businessman. He is the winner of the fifth season (2006) of Donald Trump's reality show, The Apprentice. He is the recipient of the 2014 'British Entrepreneur of The Year Award' from the British Government's, Department for International Trade (previously UKTI). He is the Founder and CEO of an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company in America. He is an Honorary Doctor (PhD h.c.) of Business from Solent University.
Yazbeck was born in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London, England. He attended William Ellis School in Highgate, London. He graduated from Solent University in Southampton, England with a First Class Honors Degree. He later received an Honorary Doctorate (PhD h.c.) of Business from Solent University where he is also a visiting lecturer. He was awarded the EB-1 visa green card for "persons of extraordinary ability". He lives in Miami Beach, Florida. He plays polo for the Grand Champions Polo Club in Wellington, Florida and is a member of the Miami chapter of The Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a global network of young chief executives.
In 2008, in reference to his charity work with "Voices for Children", the Governor of Kentucky, Steve Beshear, bestowed the honorary title of Kentucky Colonel on Yazbeck, "in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to the nation." In 2006, the then Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Florida, Carlos Álvarez (mayor), proclaimed June 20 as “Sean Yazbeck Day” in Miami-Dade County. Yazbeck is a patron of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the New World Symphony (orchestra) and the Pérez Art Museum Miami. In 2014, Haute Living named Yazbeck "one of Miami’s most eligible bachelors".
