Sharon Murphy - Biography
Sharon Murphy is Brittany Murphy's mother. Brittany was an American actress and singer. Her breakthrough role was as Tai Frasier in Clueless (1995), followed by supporting roles in independent films such as Freeway (1996) and Bongwater (1998).
Sharon was born Sharon Kathleen Murphy. She was married to Angelo Bertolotti.
Brittany died on December 20, 2009. In January 2010, Sharon and her widower, Simon Monjack, established the Brittany Murphy Foundation, a charitable fund for children's arts education, as well as supporting the USO and cancer research.
