Ethan Cutkosky - Biography
Ethan Cutkosky (born August 19, 1999) is an American actor, best known for his roles as Barto in The Unborn and as Carl Gallagher on the Showtime series Shameless.
He got his first film role playing Carl in Fred Claus (2007), a Christmas comedy starring Vince Vaughn. Two years later he played Barto in the horror film The Unborn (2009), where he worked with Gary Oldman. A year later, he starred in the independent thriller Conviction (2010), with Hilary Swank and Sam Rockwell. Currently, Ethan portrays Carl Gallagher, in the Showtime television series Shameless, whose protagonists are Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy.
Ethan is an avid skateboarder, loves photography and is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. He attends middle school in his hometown near Chicago and enjoys "hanging out" with his friends. He is an animal lover and has a number of pets, despite the numerous characters he has played that are quite different than him in reality. On November 6, 2017, he was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles.
