Alex Libby - Biography
Alex Libby is one of many teenagers trying to change the world for the better. Throughout his childhood, Alex was bullied because of how he looked. He decided to fight against bullying so that another child would not have to go through as depressing of a childhood as he did.
Alex Libby is a boy living in Edmond, Oklahoma. Before moving from Sioux City, Iowa, he was bullied by lots of people at his school. He was called things like “fish face” and other things. During the filming of Bully, he says “I don’t mind.”
Born prematurely, he was diagnosed with a mild version of autism and attention deficit disorder. It's difficult for him to relate to others in social ways and focus in class. Most people believe that conditions that affect your appearance will most likely be a victims of bullying.
In summary, Alex Libby continues to make our world a better place for everyone. He has starred in a documentary and stood up to bullies. As Alex’s famed shirt says, “I stand for the silent.” This means he isn’t he isn’t just fighting for a million people, or even 100 million people, he is fighting for all the victims of bullying around the world.
