A funeral for Lake City Police Department Officer Brandi Jackson, killed early Thursday in a house fire, has been set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Central Ministries, 217 SW Dyal Ave. in Lake City.The 24-year-old police officer was killed in a 1 a.m. house fire on Dante Terrace, according to the police department, while veteran officer David Greear was injured in the incident. Jackson had been with the department for 2 months and 2 weeks, sworn in on Aug. 19. Greear is a 14-year veteran of the department.A viewing has been scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church on SW Dyal Avenue.
