Cotton Adamson - Biography
Cotton Adamson is a robber and convicted murderer. Cotton was briefly married to Sue Lyon. Suellyn Lyon was an American actress.
Her brief marriage to Gary "Cotton" Adamson in 1973 made the headlines and she blamed the relationship on de-railing her acting career. Lyon and Adamson had become acquainted in 1972 through a mutual friend who once had been jailed with Adamson in Los Angeles. The romance was fostered through letters and prison visits.
By November 1974, Lyon was filing for divorce. But by January 1975, she seemingly had changed her mind completely and told a reporter, "Getting a divorce wasn't something I wanted to do - it was something Hollywood wanted me to do" to save her film career.
