Edith Meinhard - Biography
Edith Meinhard was a German actress who appeared in more than fifty films during her career including the 1929 film Diary of a Lost Girl.
She is known for Weißer Flieder (1940), Eine Freundin so goldig wie Du (1930) and Diary of a Lost Girl (1929). Diary of a Lost Girl (German: Tagebuch einer Verlorenen) is a 1929 silent film directed by Georg Wilhelm Pabst and starring American silent star Louise Brooks. It is shot in black and white, and various versions of the film range from 79 minutes to 116 minutes in length.
Edith already joined the film business at the age of 20. She became a busy support actress in the 30s and she impersonated roles in feature movies and short film.
