Gino Sandoval - Biography
GINO SANDOVAL | 1ST ASSISTANT DIRECTORGino Sandoval built an interest for films at a very young age. While in the Film and Television Production Program at Humber College, Gino quickly gained the respect from his peers and instructors, as he displayed his passion and work ethic. In his second year at Humber, he was the 1st AD for “fly swatter” (2013), Heartistry” (2013). His first 1st AD role outside of Humber was a feature called "The Last King" in the summer of 2014. Gino jumped on the opportunity and embraced the new challenge, as there was a lot of work ahead as he was asked to 1st AD Humber’s first feature film. Everyday was a new battle, and Gino and the crew found ways to solve the issues that occurred. “Reign” has become the reason why Gino continues to work hard till this day, as it proved to him that, there is nothing better in this world that he rather do. Gino currently completed the GAP program with the DGC and is in the process of becoming a full time union member in the AD department.
