Jackie Peterson - Biography
Jackie Peterson is the mother of death row killer Scott Peterson. She is known for 20/20 (1978), Nuk Grissle: Rock Out (2015) and The Murder of Laci Peterson (2017).
She is the mother of Scott Peterson, John E. Latham, Don Chapman, Anne Bird and stepmother of Mark Peterson, Joe Peterson and Susan Caudillo. She gave up two children for adoption, Don (b. 2 April 1963) and Anne (b. 8 July 1965), who wrote a book about the Scott and Laci Peterson case.
When asked by defense attorney Mark Geragos to describe her youngest child’s formative years, the mother-of-four stated that Scott “was overly cautious” when helping older people cross the street, and that he loved dogs. “He’s always been a nurturing, kind person all through his life,” she said. “He’s an exceptional young man. He’s not perfect, but he is a loving, nurturing, gentle person.”
