Kent Ehrhardt - Biography
Kent Ehrhardt joined the News 4 team in 1998 as a Chief Meteorologist, He graduated in Pattonville Senior High School, Ehrhardt was recognized for his expertise in Severe Weather, Kent started his career in 1983 at KFVS-TV in Cape Girardeau, MO and KWWL-TV and in 1985, Ehrhardt was the Chief Meteorologist at WPTV in West Palm Beach, FL.He holds a bachelor of science degree in Mass Communications from Southeast Missouri State University, and is certified in Advanced Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University, Ehrhardt also earned science and meteorology credits from Portland State University. Lyndon State College, Palm Beach Community College and various conferences and workshops, Ehrhardt has earned the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association seals of apporval. He was served as a board member of the National Weather Association and in 1995 was named Member of the Year.
