Klara Szalantzy - Biography
Klara Szalantzy is a German model. She is the wife of Oliver Bierhoff. She is a former model and basketball player from Germany and has been married to the former football striker since 2001.
Klara gave birth to the couple's first child in 2007, and they've since lived in Germany. Oliver is the manager of the German men's national team and deals with their public relations and some coaching duties.
Before marrying Bierhoff, Szalanty made worldwide headlines when her boyfriend at the time Drazen Petrovic, a Croatian player who played for the Nets, was killed in a car crash in 1993. Szalanty was driving when the car slammed into a trailer truck on a rain-slick road in Germany. The model and another female passenger were severely hurt in the crash, but survived.
