Lynn Deerfield - Biography
Lynn Deerfield (died November 11, 2011) was an American actress. She was an ex-wife of former WABC-TV anchorman Bill Beutel. Deerfield also appeared as a contestant on the original Match Game (1962 – 1969). TV show and would later go on to appear on CBS television daytime drama, The Guiding Light from 1970 to 1976, originating the role of Holly Norris Bauer. She would later appear on the Match Game '76 as a guest.
Lynn Deerfield was actually a contestant on the original The Match Game (1962) in 1969. She won $450. Her team captain was Burt Reynolds, whom Lynn later admitted she'd never heard of. She appeared as a celebrity panelist in 1976 while a cast member of Guiding Light (1952).
She married three times. Her first husband was Paul Mates, a Wall Street lawyer. In 1975, she married Bill Beutel, the late ABC news anchor. After they divorced, she married Michael Kelly who preceded her in death.
