Maurice L. Smith (born December 13, 1961) is an American mixed martial artist and former UFC Heavyweight Champion who most recently competed in the Heavyweight division. A professional competitor since 1980, Smith has formerly competed for the UFC, Strikeforce, PRIDE FC, Pancrase, the IFL, RINGS, the RFA, and World Victory Road.
