Miriam Barendsen - Biography
Miriam Barendsen is an activist, author and former partner of Rick Allen. Rick Allen is an English drummer who has played for the hard rock band Def Leppard since 1978. He overcame the amputation of his left arm in 1985 and continued to play with the band, which subsequently went on to its most commercially successful phase. He is known as "The Thunder God" by fans.
Miriam Barendsen became a vegetarian through her relationship with Rick Allen. The many years they spend together, the visits to all the vegetarian restaurants around the world, made her develop an incredible love for the vegetarian cuisine.
The years after Rick and Miriam had the horrible car accident, she cared and supported him cooking wonderful vegetarian food.
