Patricia Mercedes Maria Maximina Pereyra Contreras (18 of November of 1957, Santiago de los Caballeros -) known as Patricia Pereyra is a Dominican singer of blues and Jazz. Based on these genres, their interpretations, never exempt of dramatic histrionismo, present / display a fusion of elements that go from Rock to World music .Biography She was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, on November 18, 1957.At the beginning of the eighties, he made his first presentations as a guest singer of the Flamboyan group by the singer-songwriter Víctor Victor.In 1985, he was part of the Dominican artistic delegation that participated in the XII World Festival of the Youth and the Students , celebrated in Moscow , former Soviet Union. In June of 1986 , she was invited with the OFS Trio to the Carnival of the Soleil in Montreal , Canada; And in November of that same year they were the Dominican counterpart of the French percussion group Macumba .In November 1989, he recorded along with Dominican guitarist Juan Francisco Ordóñez his first production "Cabaret Azul" which would be expanded and reissued on CD in 2002.
