Rachel Landis - Biography
Rachel Landis Camera Department - My name is Rachel Landis, I was a student at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, School of Filmmaking, and majored in cinematography. I graduated with my class of 65 fellow filmmakers on May 7th, 2016.I had been making home movies for 8 years until four years ago when I began shooting and working on student films at UNCSA. I've worked in multiple facets of the process, from pre to post production. Most of my film school experience revolves around Grip & Electric work on set and pre-rigging. We worked 12hr days Saturday-Monday with professional and industry standard grade gear which is where most of my training came from. I am an International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees [I.A.T.S.E.] member with Local 487 that covers v*rginia, Maryland and the DC area.Career Highlights: A recent highlight of my career was working on the Jeff Nichols' feature film LOVING, that recently debued at Cannes with my fellow Local 487 members.
