Sherry Cohen - Biography

Sherry Cohen is known for her work on Anne of Avonlea (1987), Skullduggery (1983) and Death Weekend (1976). Death Weekend (released in the USA under the title The House by the Lake) is a 1976 Canadian horror/thriller film. It stars Brenda Vaccaro and Don Stroud and was one of the first films from Canadian director William Fruet. The low-budget production was shot in rural Canada and at a studio in Kleinburg, Ontario, Canada.
Skullduggery (also known as Warlock and Blood Puzzle) is a 1983 Canadian horror film directed by Ota Richter. Originally released in 1983, it was later issued on VHS by Media Home Entertainment, and then licensed to budget label Video Treasures. The film had a commercial re-release on DVD in January 2008 by JEF Films, although the DVD is considered a bootleg release.

She was previously married to Buddy Hackett from 12 June 1955 until his death on 30 June 2003. They had three children Sandy Hackett, Ivy Julie and Lisa Jean. Buddy Hackett (born Leonard Hacker; August 31, 1924 – June 30, 2003) was an American comedian and actor. His best remembered roles include Marcellus Washburn in The Music Man (1962), Benjy Benjamin in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Tennessee Steinmetz in The Love Bug (1968), and Scuttle in The Little Mermaid (1989).
