Born and raised in Slovenia, Spela Lenarcic moved to Paris to start her career as a model, working for Chanel, Hubert de Givenchy, Albert Elbaz at Guy Laroche, Yves Saint Laurent. Assisted Carine Roitfeld’s team at French Vogue. Contributed to Vogue (Italy and Germany), Russian Harper’s Bazaar, The Observer, i-D, Tush and Tank. She is currently Fashion Director of the prestigious “M” Le Monde. Spela has collaborated with Nathaniel Goldberg, Javier Vallhonrat, Nan Goldin, David Armstrong, Paolo Roversi, Peter Lindbergh, Deborah Turbeville, Miles Aldrige, Mathias Vriens, Philippe Decoufflé, Bettina Rheims, Sebastian Kim, Satoshi Saikusa, Ben Hassett, Annette Aurel, Jean Francois Bourcart, Brigitte Niedermair, Jean François Campos, Markus Pritzi, Sophie Delaporte, Stefano Galuzzi, Karina Taira and Felix Lammers.
