Aleksandr Povetkin - Biography
Alexander Vladimirovich Povetkin (Russian: Алекса́ндр Влади́мирович Пове́ткин; born 2 September 1979 in Kursk, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian professional boxer in the Heavyweight division. He is a 2004 Athens Olympic gold medalist and former WBA (Regular) Heavyweight champion. Formerly trained by Alexander Zimin and Teddy Atlas, from 2012 till 2014 Povetkin was coached by former super lightweight world champion Kostya Tszyu.
