Anne Elise Parks - Biography

Meteorologist Anne Elise comes to FOX 2 News and Weather Team from Terre Haute, Indiana where she served as a morning meteorologist at WTWO/WAWY-TV News. She got a good taste of midwest weather during her time in the Hoosier state with weather extremes that ranged from tornado outbreaks to record cold and snowy weathers. Anne Elise Parks is a native of New Albany, Mississippi, She is a summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University where she recevived her Bachelor of Science degree in Geoscience, with a major emphasis in Broadcast Meteorology and a minor in Communication. She was also chosen to be on the Great Plains Storm Chase Team. Where she's not busy in the weather center, Anne Elise enjoys interviewing and reporting opportunities, Her resume boasts interviews with Faith Hill, Taylor swift, Robin Roberts, and Seth Meyers. She reported live from the CMA Awards red carpet in 2013, and it instantly became a career highlight. In her free time, Anne Elise enjoys serving in the community groups like the Boys & Girls Club, and the Humane Society, she especially enjoys visiting school groups and teaching children about the importance of Severe Weather prepareness. A Lifelong Cardinals fan and softball player, Anne Elise is thrilled to be in the St. Louis area where she can cheer on her favorite baseball team from the grandstands at Busch Stadium, She looks forward to serving with such a knowledgeable weather team and is excited to join the community so rich in tradition and history.
