Carla Pereira - Biography
Carla Pereira is an Argentinean model. Pereira began her studies of Fine Arts in Altea, Spain. Then, she transferred his file to San Carlos University in Valencia, where she accepted the opportunity offered by Javier Tostado to work on the pilot of the Clay Kids series, which allowed her to discover that she wanted to dedicate herself to stop motion. She finished her studies as a graduate in Fine Arts, Illustration and Animation.
Within her professional career as a stop-motion animator, her participation in the first Mexican stop motion feature entitled Inzomnia (2014) and directed by Luis Téllez, the Norwegian short Hakkebakkeskogen (2016), and the award-winning Isla of dogs (2018) directed by Wes Anderson. She has also worked in series such as Clay Kids with Javier Tostado, Konijn & Konijntje, Twirlywoos and Clangers and in short films such as El criptozoólogo and Uróboros.
She is co-founder of the Colectivo Engranaje, which has developed different advertising spots and promotional videos. It is planned for 2019 the premiere of his personal project Metamorfosis, a short that he will direct with Juanfran Jacinto.
