Kirsten Tibballs - Biography
Kirsten Tibballs (born 5 January 1973 in Leongatha, Victoria, Australia), is an Australian pastry chef, chocolatier and author based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Kirsten is considered one of Australia’s most successful pastry chefs, representing Australia at world championships and as a judge for global competitions. She founded Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School in 2002 and is one of the most followed female pastry chefs on Instagram.Kirsten is the author of two cookbooks, a frequent contributor to pastry publications, and features regularly on television including Masterchef Australia. In 2017, Kirsten launched the Mix n' Make app which reflected a new chapter for the patisserie world. Due to her incredible chocolate work and teaching, Kirsten is often referred to as the ‘Queen of Chocolate’.
