Lorena Meritano - Biography
Lorena Meritano is an Argentinean actress who was born on September 30, 1970.
Lorena Meritano was born in the city of Concordia, in the province of Entre Ríos, in the central region of Argentina. In 1985 she decided to go to Italy to try his luck in the world of modeling and later return to Argentina to study acting. In 1993 she had her first role in the Mexican telenovela Prisionera de amor. In 1998 she played a role in the novel Brave Wrist where she played a third in discord between the couple starring the Uruguayan Natalia Oreiro and the Argentine Facundo Arana.
In 2001 she arrived in Colombia, where she has developed most of her work, she played the role of Gabriela Garza inEcoModa, sequel to the soap opera Betty, the ugly one. Since the first appearance on Colombian television, Meritano has had several roles in productions from that country such as Pasión de gavilanes (where she played Dinora Rosales), Desperate Housewives, Mujeres asesinas, among others.
In 2014 , she was diagnosed with breast cancer, a disease which was treated in Argentina and surpass in 2015.
