Qamhat Maahes was born in Cairo Egypt. He is Hereditary Chief of Qamhat Bisharin tribe in Kharga Oasis and Regent Chief of Ababdah tribes in Mohafazat Aswan and Kharga Oasis. His mother is Princess Irisi Saida of the Qamhat Khawr al `allaqi Taha Dynasty. Qamhat Bishari noble families were best celebrated through 17th, 18th and 19th centuries in the royal courts of Russian and European nobles. H.M. Tawfika Khanum Sharif, mother of Queen Nazli Sabri of Egypt is the best known descendant of this lineage, though she was of mixed blood and only a very distant relative of the Qamhat.
