Savannah started out performing in amateur hardcore fare under her real name of Natalie Heck in her native England. In July 2010, a man named Shoduil Islam tried to kill her at her London residence. The assailant tried to strangle her, resulting in a deep wound in her throat. Help came thanks to the neighbors, who, alarmed by the screams, called the police. The girl was found in a pool of blood, naked, on the floor of the house and immediately transported to the hospital. The man, after confessing to entering Heck's house with the sole intention of carrying out a robbery, was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
Gold also worked as an escort in London, England and had an exclusive contract with Bluebird. She had several tattoos and piercings in both her navel and clitoris.
