Shay Laren is an American model (adult/glamour) who was born on December 31, 1985 in in Georgia, USA. She was Penthouse Pet of the Month for the month of June 2006. Laren, the eldest of four children, was an army brat, growing up in a number of military bases across the world. She spent her high school years in Germany.
She worked in a boutique prior to entering the adult film industry. Penthouse claims she also spent time in Hawaii. Laren was married and divorced prior to the age of 20; she stated that she told her husband she was getting a divorce during his second tour of duty in Iraq after learning of his affair with a colleague. Laren was discovered by Crystal Klein who was her neighbor and a former Penthouse Pet herself.
She meets old models that encourage her to make an incursion into the charm industry. Shay Laren still hesitates and it is only later that she decides to become a model of charm, thanks to the Crystal Klein model which convinces her to make a photoshoot for Penthouse magazine.
