Ricky Davao is a Filipino actor and director. He is the husband of actress Jackie Lou Blanco. He is the younger brother of Bing Davao and the son of Charlie Davao. As an actor he has been an award winning actor who sweeped away numerous awards from Movie Award ceremonies as a gay teacher who falls in love with a woman played by Rosanna Roces in Ang Lalaki Sa Buhay Ni Selya in 1998 he starred in Azucena starring Glydel Mercado and Alessandra De Rossi.
He made his acting debut in 1995 in the television series Familia Zaragoza and debuted as a director with his television series Grazilda (2010).
He attended workshops conducted by Peque Gallaga, and PETA, and Bulwagang Gantimpala to enhance his acting skills. In 2010, he withdrew nomination as a councilor candidate in the Fourth District of Quezon City.
